Sagi is right at the front of the new food scene growing in Perpignan, working with only the best products from local small producers and with a great spirit. All the base wines are from local producers in the area whilst the botanicals are often foraged from wild plants or herbs that are grown wild, whilst all the fruit is from local farmers working in permaculture. Stylewise, the Sagi vermouths lean towards a more Catalan style, which are a bit lighter than their Italian cousins and with a more savoury feeling on the fruit & aromatics.
